Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of HomeCircle Connect (the "Service") provided by Coral Digital Media. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. The Service may change, be updated, or occasionally be interrupted.

1. The Service

HomeCircle Connect is a private family space for organising everyday support for someone you care for: shared tasks, appointments, reminders, and text, photo and voice updates. It is an organising tool. It is not medical advice, a healthcare service, or an emergency service. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account, and you must provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful purposes, or to post harmful, harassing, hateful or abusive content;
• invite people into a circle who should not have access to the information in it;
• share information about the person you support without their permission or appropriate authority;
• upload content you lack the rights to, or that infringes others' rights;
• rely on the Service for emergencies or urgent care decisions;
• attempt to access circles you are not a member of, or overload, probe or disrupt the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your content and ownership

You keep ownership of everything you post — updates, photos, voice notes, tasks and appointments. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you and your circle, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its name, logo, design and software, is owned by Coral Digital Media and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights in our intellectual property except the right to use the Service.

6. Payment

HomeCircle Connect is currently free. A paid plan is coming soon; its price, billing, renewal, refund and cancellation terms will be shown before you buy and become part of these Terms. Payments will be handled by a third-party processor; we will not store full card numbers.

7. AI helpers

Some features use AI: voice note transcripts, weekly summaries, "Say it" task drafts, translations and read aloud. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Always check it before relying on it, especially for times, dates and anything about health.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coral Digital Media will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for decisions made in reliance on the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Coral Digital Media's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid Coral Digital Media during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Coral Digital Media against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before commencing any legal proceeding, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at hello@homecircleconnect.com; if it is not resolved within 30 days of that notice, either party may proceed. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts or the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts, except where prohibited by applicable law. Nothing in this section prevents either party from bringing an individual action in small-claims court, or from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief to protect its intellectual property or confidential information. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive any right to a jury trial or to bring or participate in a class action.

11. Changes & termination

We may modify these Terms or the Service; material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. You may stop using the Service at any time; we may suspend or terminate access under these Terms.
